Whelp, that's me.
Everyone has one, just mine is mostly cooler than yours.
My dad has done a lot of cool stuff in his time.
This is my maternal grandfather, affectionately known as "Poppy." He fought in World War II in the Pacific campaign, suffered severe PTSD from the war, and sang while riding the lawn mower in a wide-brimmed straw hat and a suit.
Always dapper, he was a painter by trade. He did a number of cool projects. (He even painted Bob Dylan's house in the 60s, and had coffee with Dylan and his wife!)
You'd rarely see him without his hair perfectly combed (and even used to pay me a quarter to comb it and tickle his hands), his socks matching his shirt, dress pants and nice shoes....even while doing yardwork.
My maternal grandmother....Always an inspiration.
It used to be a challenge to get her to smile or laugh, doubly so if a camera was in the room, but I always managed.
She worked in a soda fountain as a girl, which is where she met Poppy. Even as she got older, she always took great care with how her hair was made up. She was a sweet little women.
